There are now seven Massachusetts insurers who now participate in SinglePoint Leads
Needham-based Boston Software announced this week that both the Arbella Mutual Insurance Company and Quincy Mutual Insurance Company have signed on to its SinglePoint Leads.
“We’re really pleased to have Arbella and Quincy Mutual join the platform,” said Charlie Walsh, Marketing Director of Boston Software Corporation. “They are obviously major players in the MA insurance market with big rosters of outstanding agencies. Their presence definitely adds to the momentum and credibility of the “give-consumers-what-they-want” movement.”
The insurers, both based in Quincy, have become the sixth and seven insurance carriers in Massachusetts to join the program which allows consumers in Massachusetts to generate instate quotes on an independent insurance agents website or Facebook pages. The other five participating carriers are Safety Insurance, Commerce, Plymouth Rock, Norfolk & Dedham and Occidental.
“It’s important to engage consumers through multiple points of contact, and Leads is certainly one of them,” explained Quincy Mutual Executive Vice President Kevin Meskell. “And now, as we hear that companies like WalMart and other direct marketers are coming into our business, we want more than ever to promote the advantages of doing business with independent agents.”
“Changing consumer behavior drove Arbella’s decision to participate,” according to Jim Hyatt, Vice President, Arbella Mutual. “We know that more and more insurance consumers are heading online to start their shopping,” Hyatt said. “Leads allows consumers to start their shopping online, but quickly gets them in the hands of independent agents to ensure that the policy they buy fully protects them and fits their needs. Arbella is happy to be there – for our customers and our agents.”
For those Massachusetts insurance professionals who are not familiar with SinglePoint Leads, it is a partnership between Winrater and insurance carriers which allows Massachusetts independent agents to offer consumers an “instant, comparative Real-Time Auto quote” from an agency’s website or Facebook page.
SinglePoint Leads has already given 10,000 insurance quotes thus far
Boston Software now says some 200 independent insurance agencies have now leased SinglePoint Leads and are offering online quotes, with over 10,000 insurance quotes having already been provided.
“We’re really starting to see some traction now.” Walsh added. “Hundreds of agencies are now using SinglePoint Leads on their website or Facebook page and more than 10,000 real-time quotes have been run for consumers since our March launch.”
