Coverys is the eighth largest medical professional liability insurance provider in the U.S.
Erin Brennan Bagley has been named Vice President and General Counsel of the medical professional liability insurance provider Coverys. Her appointment to that position became effective in April of this year. In her new role, Ms. Bagley will be responsible for overseeing the insurance providers legal department in addition to advising the company on all of its corporate legal matters.
Prior to joining Coverys, Ms. Bagley served as regulatory counsel at the Beazley Group. In addition, Ms. Bagley previously served as healthcare counsel to the Massachusetts Commissioner of Insurance. Her legal career began as a litigation associate with Johnson & Aceto, LLP, a corporate and business law firm based in Boston.

A graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, Ms. Bagley obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. She is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and Massachusetts and was recently appointed as a hearing officer with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers.
