Boston – Plymouth Rock Home Assurance Corporation, the customer-first, data-driven home insurance provider of choice for the Northeast, announced that it has named Andrew Leeds as Vice President of Claims. In this role, Leeds will lead a growing claims team and develop innovative, technology-forward processes specializing in delivering efficient and quality policy services and benefits to customers. Leeds’ appointment underscores the company’s commitment to providing unparalleled value to customers and is a major milestone in Plymouth Rock’s focus on growing its customer facing operations team, which has doubled in size in the past year.
Mr. Leeds comes to Plymouth Rock from Homesite Insurance where he led the homeowner claims desk organization, SIU, subrogation, quality assurance and vendor operations. Additionally, he served as the Enterprise Property Claims Consulting Assistant Vice President. He was responsible for leading a team of business consultants focused on driving operational excellence across the desk, field, CAT and large loss organizations. Prior to Homesite, Mr. Leeds had a 15-year career with Liberty Mutual Insurance serving in a variety of property underwriting, auto and property claims roles with nationwide responsibility. As a claims leader at Liberty, Mr. Leeds managed hundreds of adjusters across the country and drove significant improvements in efficiency, quality and most importantly, the customer experience.
“Andrew is an innovator that can deliver completely different and better experiences to our customers than they expect from an insurer. You rarely find people this creative who are also good at bringing their ideas to market reality,” said Bill Martin, CEO and President, Plymouth Rock Home Assurance Corporation. “He comes to us with decades of experience in designing industry-leading claims practices, and has already begun work designing the best possible experience for our policyholders who have a claim.”
“I’m really excited to have the opportunity to lead an outstanding team that is growing at a tremendous pace,” said Leeds. “We will be nimble, innovate and leverage technology to exceed the expectations of our agents, partners and customers. There is no doubt that we are building something special here at Plymouth Rock and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”
Plymouth Rock Home Assurance has experienced significant momentum in recent years, driven in large part by the introduction of @HomeTM by Plymouth Rock in 2019, an industry-first product that modernizes the traditional home insurance quoting and buying process using innovations that provide fast quotes for virtually every home address in the six states in which Plymouth Rock operates. Since then, it has continued to make strategic investments building out its team and technology to enhance the customer experience for its policyholders. From underwriting self-inspections that don’t require an inspector visit or claims tools that allow a homeowner to submit evidence of a claim without the need of an on-site adjuster, the company continues to put the needs of its customers first, while also creating value-add solutions for the independent agent community. Beyond a superior customer experience, customers and agents alike can feel secure working with a company that has over 35 years of experience writing and managing home and auto insurance.
