Mark J. McDonnell has been named Senior Vice President at the Vermont Mutual Group
Mark J. McDonnell has joined the Vermont Mutual Group as a Senior Vice President of the Montpelier-based insurer. Most recently, Mr. McDonnell was the Vice President of personal lines for the Tower Group Companies, where he also served as the President of Adirondack AIF, LLC and New Jersey Skylands Management, LLC. Mr. McDonnell’s career in insurance, which spans almost thirty years, also includes past management positions in marketing, underwriting and operations with OneBeacon, Encompass and CNA Insurance.
A graduate of Albright College where he received his Bachelors of Science in Business and Biology, Mr. McDonnell also holds the following insurance designations: CPCU, CIC, AUT, AAM and AIM. He obtained his MBA from Eastern University.

Daniel C. Bridge is named to Vermont Mutual’s Board of Directors
In addition to the above appointment, Vermont Mutual also recently announced that it had named Daniel C. Bridge to its Board of Directors. Mr. Bridge, who has been with the company for the past five years, was promoted to Executive Vice President earlier this year. Prior to joining Vermont Mutual, Mr. Bridge was a Regional Vice President for The Hanover, and Regional President at both the Houston General Insurance Exchange and OneBeacon Insurance. He is a graduate of St. Anselm’s College.

Mr. Bridge looks forward to helping Vermont Mutual move forward as the newest member of its Board of Directors.
