Rogers & Gray Continues Growth With New Addition To Senior Leadership Team
Michael Robinson, Chairman of Rogers & Gray Insurance, announced that Jeffrey Reilly has joined the Senior Leadership team as Chief Sales Officer.
“Jeff is a dynamic, results-oriented leader with a strong background in sales planning, emerging technologies and team expansion.” Says Robinson. “With over 25 years of experience with companies like Gillette, Proctor and Gamble and Symmons, Jeff is the ideal fit to lead the charge on the continued development of our long-term strategy, mentorship program and growth of our sales team.”
Reilly holds an MBA from the Northeastern University, D’Amore-McKim School of Business and a BS from Stonehill College. He resides with his wife of 26 years and their 4 children in Hingham, where he is a youth athletics coach for both football and baseball. “I couldn’t be more excited to join the incredible team here at Rogers & Gray.” Said Reilly. “I look forward to helping the team build on the tremendous growth the agency has seen by working hard to place customers first”.

Ernie Feirer Joins Activer Solutions As Chief Marketing Officer
Activer Solutions, a strategic service partner providing business process outsourcing solutions to the property and casualty insurance industry, has appointed Ernie Feirer as Chief Marketing Officer. This new role reflects the company’s preparation for growth, expansion of partnerships, and new services and capabilities.
“We are in a growth phase and are actively preparing for the future by enhancing our strategy and go to market capabilities,” stated Jeffrey Glazer, CEO, Activer Solutions. “I’ve known Ernie for many years and knew he was the right person to help me take Activer Solutions to the next level.” In the role of Chief Marketing Officer, Feirer will oversee the go-forward strategy for all aspects of the company, including sales, marketing, partnerships, and growth initiatives.

Feirer has a diverse background that includes General Management, Sales Support, Marketing, Product Development, Information Technology, Strategic Alliances, Acquisitions, Budgeting, Operations Management, and Software Development.
Before joining Activer Solutions, Feirer was Vice President and General Manager, Commercial Insurance, for LexisNexis Risk Solutions, where he was responsible for a portfolio of products and services for the commercial insurance market. In his previous role at LexisNexis, Feirer served as Vice President and General Manager, Claims, where he played the central role in building a claims-focused business to complement LexisNexis’ data and underwriting business. Before LexisNexis, he was responsible for the operations of ISO’s claims data and analytics business. Feirer earned a master’s in computer science and an MBA in marketing from Iona College. He also has a Certified Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Promotes John Roe to Head of Casualty Construction, North America
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) today announced that it has named John Roe as Head of Casualty Construction, North America, responsible for the company’s construction professional, homebuilders and construction casualty product lines and loss control.
“John has been integral to the build out of our casualty construction platform, and we are pleased to have him leading our efforts to bring BHSI’s financial strength, long term focus, and underwriting and service excellence to this sector,” said Meredith Bullock, Head of Casualty, North America, BHSI.
John, who spent the last six years as Head of Construction, Eastern Region, at BHSI, is taking the reins of Casualty Construction from Bill Sullivan. Bill is retiring after a distinguished 37-year career in the insurance industry, including most recently six years leading BHSI’s efforts in the North American casualty construction marketplace.

Acadia Insurance Announces Field Leadership and Claims Leadership Promotions
Acadia Insurance, a Berkley Company, announced today the promotion of Artemis Tsagaris to Regional Vice President, Branch Manager and the promotion of Keith Gleason to AVP of Claims.
Artemis Tsagaris has been promoted to Regional Vice President, Branch Manager for Acadia’s Connecticut office. Artemis has worked for Acadia for 13 years as Director of Branch Marketing and has extensive knowledge and experience with distribution management, underwriting and insurance operations. Her previous experience includes Vice President level responsibilities at two national carriers. Artemis enjoys strong relationships with Acadia’s Connecticut agents and is highly regarded for her leadership, professionalism and expertise.
Keith Gleason, CPCU, AIC, SCLA is promoted to Assistant Vice President – Claims, effective May 1st. Keith previously served as Property Claims Manager, providing leadership for Acadia’s property claims team, which has consistently earned high praise for their technical acumen and commitment to customer service. Keith began his insurance career at Acadia Insurance as a Claims Trainee. He was promoted to a field claim representative in both property and casualty and then to the Major Case unit. In his new role, Keith will also oversee Acadia’s Auto Physical Damage team and help lead innovative product initiatives that can help bring faster service and solutions to Acadia’s customers.

Boston CPCU Chapter Announces Two Scholarships for 2019
The Boston Chapter of the CPCU Society is pleased to announce two available scholarships worth $2,000 each. Applicants must be a spouse or dependant of a current Boston Chapter member in good standing. High school seniors planning to attend college or other institutions of advanced education are eligible to apply. Current students at institutions of advanced education are also eligible. Prior winners are not eligible and past applicants are encouraged to re-apply.
