Rogers & Gray’s Acquires The Paul Peters Agency of Falmouth & Mashpee

May 14, 2019 by AC Editor

The Paul Peters Agency has two locations on Cape Cod

Announcing its first official acquisition for the year 2019, Rogers & Gray continues to consolidate its presence as not only the largest independent insurance agency on the Cape Cod, but as one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Massachusetts with the announcement of its acquisition of the Paul Peters Agency.

“We are thrilled to be working with the team at Paul Peters Agency and look forward to serving their clients in Falmouth and Mashpee”, said David Robinson, President & CEO of Rogers & Gray in the company’s official announcement. “The Paul Peters service team will remain in place at the agency, continuing their tradition of excellent service to clients.”

“We focus on adding high quality agencies to the Rogers & Gray family that bring a tradition of exceptional client experience and talented colleagues to our agency.” Says Michael Robinson, Chairman of Rogers & Gray. “With continued growth, our clients are better represented in the insurance marketplace.”

One of the two locations of the Paul Peters Agency on the Cape.

Founded in Falmouth in 1927, the independent agency currently has two locations in  Falmouth and Mashpee.

“We expect Rogers & Gray to bring a tremendous amount of value to our clients. Their recognitions, including having a “Best in Class” Net Promotor Score (measuring customer satisfaction) assured us that our clients and staff would be working with a company that cares about its people and patrons.” Says Michael Lynch of Paul Peters Agency. “Although the ownership will be retiring, we will not be leaving the place we call home. It has been our greatest pleasure to serve our clients.”

According to the terms of the agreement, former clients of the Paul Peters Agency will continue to be serviced from their Falmouth and Mashpee offices with the locations being re-branded under the Rogers & Gray umbrella.

2018 was a banner year for Rogers & Gray

With this newest acquisition in 2019, Rogers & Gray continues the ambitious growth plans the agency laid out in 2018. Those plans included the opening of its 10th office location in Quincy, along with the debut of its first proprietary coastal homeowners insurance product, Monomoy.

As for its increasing geographic footprint, the independent agency currently ranks as one of the top 100 independent insurance agencies the U.S. and was selected as the “Best Independent Insurance Agency to Work for” in the U.S.
