DOI Schedules Hearing On CMR 26.00 Annual Financial Reporting For Years Ending 2010 and After

The Massachusetts Division of Insurance has scheduled a hearing for December 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m concerning the proposed amendment of regulation 211 CMR 26.00, Annual Financial Reporting for Years Ending 2010 and After.

The scheduled hearing is to afford all interested parties the opportunity to comment on the Division’s plans to amend 211 CMR 26.00 so that it will include requirements for insurance companies’ internal audit function. The purpose is to amend the regulation so that it conforms to the NAIC Model Regulation (#205).

How to participate in a DOI Hearing

The following instructions are taken from the DOI Notice on how to participate in this hearing:

Any person who wishes to make an oral statement at the hearing is requested to file a Notice of Intent to Comment with the Division on or before December 18, 2019. All other persons who wish to make oral statements will be heard after those who notify the Division in advance. Written comments may be submitted at any time before the hearing and thereafter until the hearing record is closed. All submissions must refer to Docket No. G2019-04 and may be sent by mail to: Docket Clerk, Hearings and Appeals, Division of Insurance, 1000 Washington Street, Suite 810, Boston MA 02118-6200 or electronically to doidocket.mailbox@mass.gov.
