Chicago – Hub International Limited (HUB), a leading global insurance brokerage, announced today that it named Shawn J. McLaughlin, as President and CEO of Hub International New England, LLC. Shawn previously held the role of Chief Sales Officer for the region. Shawn will report to Charles J. Brophy, who will continue to serve as the East Regional President of Hub International, Ltd.
As President and CEO, Shawn will be responsible for managing the various divisions of Hub International New England while providing the continued delivery of innovative and tailored solutions to HUB clients. Shawn’s deep knowledge of Hub’s staff and resources while serving as the CSO will help facilitate a seamless transition.

Shawn’s industry expertise is extensive, dedicating nearly 25 years to the insurance industry. His innovative thinking led to the formation of two firms that he grew from startup to generating over $2M in revenue in just over five years. He spent the bulk of those years specializing in the healthcare industry, subsequently serving as Hub’s National Healthcare Specialty Practice leader. Shawn’s unique experience includes hands-on problem-solving with clients and prospects. He remains among the company’s top producers while serving in an executive leadership capacity.
