QUINCY – The Arbella Insurance Group is pleased to announce the promotion of David Zawilinski to director of Commercial Lines Product. In his new role, Zawilinski will lead the Product team in introducing new commercial lines products and coverage enhancements, collaborate with partner agents on customer needs and feedback, monitor the competitive commercial lines landscape and oversee the various state and bureau filings with respect to rates and forms. He will report to Susan Kostro, senior vice president of Commercial Lines.

He will bring these skills to the Commercial Lines Product team. Since joining Arbella five years ago, Dave has built a strong track record of achieving business results, developing talent and managing key agent relationships, all of which are vital to this new role.”
Zawilinski’s experience in underwriting provides him with a deep understanding of the needs of Arbella’s independent agents and its customers. Most recently, Zawilinski held the position of underwriting manager for Commercial Lines leading underwriting teams in Massachusetts and Connecticut, helping to lead the department to profitable growth. In addition, Zawilinski managed the Commercial Auto ceded business team. Prior to joining Arbella in 2015, Dave gained extensive underwriting experience at a national carrier where he advanced through underwriting, field production, and underwriting leadership positions.
Zawilinski received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Nichols College in Dudley, MA. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Portsmouth, RI.
