Morse Insurance Agency Inc. is proud to welcome industry veteran David Polutchko as its newest commercial lines sales account executive. Polutchko brings over 22 years of insurance experience to the local independent agency.
“We are thrilled to welcome David to the Morse Insurance team,” said Dan Morse, president of Morse Insurance. “Two of his greatest assets, and he has many, are his appreciation for building strong client relationships and his extensive knowledge of commercial lines coverage, specifically Professional Liability insurance. In only a few months, he has already proven to be a great addition and role model for our younger producers.”
In his new role, David is responsible for driving commercial lines revenue, developing comprehensive business insurance programs, educating local business owners on the importance of quality commercial coverages, and providing exceptional service and support to clients.
David joins Morse Insurance from an insurance agency in Easton, Massachusetts, where he was in a similar role for 10 years. During his successful insurance career, David has built strong relationships with many business owners, including several hotels, motels, and inns on Cape Cod and various other Main Street-type businesses in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
His industry experience began while earning his bachelor’s degree in business at the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth. From there, the Mansfield resident and family man further cultivated his risk management expertise in an assistant vice president role at Aon Risk Services. After seven years working in downtown Boston, David moved on to a role closer to home, where he was able to build a network and work hands-on with local business owners.
David currently maintains his Rhode Island and Massachusetts Insurance and Surplus Lines Producer licenses, Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation, and Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) membership.
Polutchko is enthusiastic about continuing his career with the Morse Insurance team. “The Morse brothers run a great shop and have an excellent reputation locally and in the industry as a whole. After several conversations with Dan Morse over the years, making the move to Morse Insurance Agency was a no-brainer for me, both personally and professionally,” said Polutchko. “I’m excited to continue serving the local community here in Southeastern Massachusetts under the Morse Insurance name.”
