SG&D Agencies achieves Cornerstone Agency designation from Chubb

April 24, 2020 by Agency Checklists

Only the top 7% of insurance agencies achieve this milestone

Sullivan, Garrity and Donnelly Insurance Agencies, a family-run insurance agency that has served customers across Massachusetts and beyond for nearly 100 years, has recently received the coveted Cornerstone designation for its personal lines division.

Of the more than 3600 U.S. personal lines agencies that work with Chubb Personal Risk Services, less than seven percent have earned the Cornerstone agency designation.

As a Cornerstone agency, SG&D Agencies will receive several benefits, enabling it to address clients’ insurance needs faster and more efficiently. SG&D staff will have access to Chubb’s most experienced underwriters and risk consultants, and SD&G Agencies will have a claim specialist dedicated to its agency.  In addition, employees will have preferential access to educational Chubb seminars.

Christine Cunning

“SG&D Agencies’ day-to-day commitment to delivering risk management solutions to successful individuals and their families has enabled it to become one of Chubb Personal Risk Service’s top personal insurance producers in the country”, said Vince Burgey, Vice President of Personal Risk Services.

Christine Cunning, a principal at SG&D Agencies, said, “Our affiliation with Chubb has been a long and beneficial one. We are pleased to have achieved this elite designation from Chubb, which is such a respected voice in our industry. And as our agency approaches its 100th anniversary, we continue to look for new and better ways to deliver value to our clients. We know that Chubb will continue to be a big part of our story.”

Chubb is the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company, with operations in 54 countries and territories. Chubb provides commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance and life insurance to a diverse group of clients.
