Mr. Nicolopoulos is the Former NH Insurance Commissioner
Davis & Towle Insurance Group, headquartered in Concord, NH with 13 locations across the state and into Maine, is proud to welcome former NH Insurance Commissioner, Christopher (Chris) Nicolopoulos as the agency’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With Chris’s addition, Jeffrey Towle, previously the agency’s President has moved to the position of Chairman of the Board, while his son, Ryan Towle, previously Vice President has assumed the role of President.
A seasoned insurance and regulatory leader, Chris previously served as New Hampshire’s Insurance Commissioner, overseeing the state’s $10 billion insurance market, and as President & CEO of the New Hampshire Association of Insurance Agents, where he led advocacy, member services, and carrier relations for the state’s independent agents.
He also brings legal expertise and public policy experience from both the private and association sectors. Most recently, he worked in a regional government affairs role at NAMIC (National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies).
Through the acquisitions of various independent insurance agencies across New Hampshire and Maine, Davis & Towle has grown to be one of New Hampshire’s largest, locally owned, independent insurance agencies. As part of Davis & Towle’s restructuring of leadership, several current employees have also been recognized with leadership positions. Sandra Margeson has assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer. Lori Tobin is now Vice President, Personal Lines / Branch Management, and Brian Parsons has been promoted to Vice President, Sales.
