July 11, 2016 – The hearings will provide the opportunity for Massachusetts insurance professionals to comment on the proposed amendments or rescission of various insurance regulations.
Producer’s Misrepresentation Regarding Paying Child Support Results in $5,500 Fine
On May 23, 2016, a Division of Insurance Hearing Officer fined Germone A. Gadsden, of Charlotte, North Carolina a total of $5,500 arising out of a license misrepresentation regarding the payment of child support.
MA Commissioner Agrees With Plymouth Rock On Rule 29 Credit Appeal
June 7, 2016 – The Division’s decision concerns CAR’s proposed rule amendment that would have eliminated the existing credits rewarding insurance carriers that voluntarily insured motorists rated as class 10 whose vehicles have their principal places of garaging in Lynn, Lowell and Brockton.
