Norfolk & Dedham Adds Mass. Insurance Veteran Katie Enslin To Its Ranks

The insurer has appointed Ms. Enslin as Division Manager, Sales and Marketing

Agency Checklists, MA Insurance News, Mass. Insurance NewsMassachusetts insurance industry veteran Katie Enslin has joined The Norfolk & Dedham Group. The insurer has appointed Ms. Enslin as division manager, Sales and Marketing. In her new role, she will oversee a team of experienced marketing representatives as well as providing strategic direction in addressing the evolving needs of the Company’s network of independent insurance agents. She will report to Senior Vice President Joel Murray.

“Our focus continues to be on delivering stability and consistency to both consumers and independent agents, while continually innovating our products and technology,” said Murray. “Katie’s depth of experience in reinsurance and business development gives her a unique and diverse perspective on what has propelled the most successful independent agency-based companies throughout the U.S. and we’re pleased to have her join our team.”

Prior to joining the Dedham-based insurer, Ms. Enslin was most recently a senior vice president at BMS Intermediaries, Inc. Her extensive track record in the risk-management and reinsurance brokerage industry also includes senior positions at Guy Carpenter and Aon Benfield. In addition, over the years she also been responsible for developing financial solutions and managing risk for various regional and super-regional companies in both the Midwest and New England.

The 190-year old carrier is also ramping up its communications efforts 

Along with the addition of Ms. Enslin to the N&D Family, the 190-year old insurer its decision to place greater emphasis on its branding and awareness. To that end, the A-rated carrier has appointed Virginia Lux as its new Director of Communications to spearhead this new effort. Ms. Lux who has a worked at such notable Massachusetts high-tech companies including Mobiquity and Netezza, will be focusing her efforts on expanding the company’s communications efforts that elevate the N&D brand as well as in developing valuable content for the insurer’s modern insurance consumer and independent agent.
