Three Mass. Insurance Agencies & One Insurtech Make Inc. 5000 List

August 22, 2017 by AC Editor

The Inc. 5000 list is an annual ranking of the fastest growing private companies in America

Congratulations are in order to three Massachusetts insurance agencies and one Cambridge-based insurtech for their addition to Inc. Magazine’s 5000 list. Ranked by sector, the Inc. 5000 list is an overview of companies that are creating both value and jobs across the country. In total, Inc. says the companies on this year’s list created approximately 619,631 jobs in total over the past three years. In commenting on his company’s achievement, Everquote’s CEO Seth Birnbaum said,

It is a proud day for EverQuote to be ranked on the Inc. 5000 list for the fourth year in a row. This achievement is a continuing testament to our hardworking, talented team and our fantastic insurance partners who share in our collective mission to improve consumer shopping and provider marketing efficiency year after year. We expect to continue and diversify our revenue growth via the addition of home and life insurance to our marketplace and the continued expansion of our EverDrive social safe driving app. We’re thrilled to be recognized by Inc. and look forward to improving the insurance process for millions of consumers and thousands of insurance providers in the US.”

So who else in Massachusetts made the list?

The following are all of the Property & Casualty insurance-related companies that are based in Massachusetts and who made the list this year. In addition to three independent agencies and Everquote, there were also two other insurance-related companies who made the list this year, Novarica and Advanced Medical Strategies.
