The agency has chosen the “City of Presidents” for its new office location
To accommodate its growing presence outside of Southern Massachusetts and Cape Cod, the Rogers & Gray Insurance Agency has announced the opening of a new office location in Quincy.
“This was a logical next step in our strategic growth,” said Michael Robinson, Chairman, Rogers & Gray. “Not only will it make us more accessible to clients in the Boston-area, but it will help us recruit new talent.”
The Quincy location is housed at 1266 Furnace Brook Parkway, Suite 410, Quincy, MA. The agency says that several members of the team from the Kingston headquarters will relocate to the new space. In addition to offering insurance, the Quincy location will also focus on serving real estate, lending and financial service partners.
The agency is expecting to add hundreds of jobs over the next five years
The Quincy location represents the 10th office for Rogers & Gray, a milestone number for any agency. And even though the company is a Top 100 Independent Insurance Agent serving clients in all fifty states, the opening of this office location signals something more: the physical expansion of Rogers & Gray’s operation outside of Southern Massachusetts.
“We have an ambitious recruiting strategy for the next five years where we expect to add hundreds of jobs,” explains Mr. Robinson. “This move will allow us to draw from the diverse pool of talented college graduates and executives in the Boston area.”
A watershed year for the agency
Overall, 2018 has been a busy year for the independent agency. In addition to launching this new office location in the Greater Boston Area, earlier this year the company also launched its new coastal homeowners program, The Monomoy Insurance Group. The program offers coastal homeowners an alternative to the FAIR Plan with a homeowners product fully reinsured with eight different insurance companies through the London market.
In discussing the program with Agency Checklists’ earlier this year, Rogers & Gray said that it developed the program with the aim of meeting the needs of an underserved insurance market by offering rates comparable to the Mass FAIR Plan, but with enhanced coverage options.
