In commenting on the acquisition of the Walley Insurance Agency, Keith J. Signoriello, President and Principal of C&S Insurance said in an official statement. “Walley Insurance has developed a reputation for excellence since its establishment nearly 100 years ago. That is a perfect fit for the culture we have created at C&S. We are extremely pleased to welcome Frank Walley and his group to our growing, talented team.”

C&S Insurance principal Ben Cavallo, who also happens to be a Dedham resident, echoed Mr. Signoriello’s sentiments. “The Walley name is a well-known and respected brand,” Cavallo said.  “We’re excited to build on that tradition and expand our presence into the Metro-Boston area.”

According to the terms of the agreement, Frank Walley III, who is a third generation owner of the Walley Agency will continue on after the sale retaining his role as president. He also will continue to oversee the new C&S location at the Walley Agency’s former offices at 475 High Street as well as the entire Walley Agency staff roster, who will all remain unchanged as well.

In commenting on the sale of the agency, the Walley Agency website noted the following, “Best of all: the merge will bring you more insurance carriers to choose from—when shopping for home, auto, or business coverage—which in turn brings more savings opportunities. Teaming up with C&S also ensures we’ll have the capacity to serve you and your family for many years to come.”

Francis M. Walley founded his namesake agency in 1922. Beginning in the family living room in Dedham, the Walley agency grew over the ensuing years eventually moving to its current headquarters at 475 High Street in the 1940’s. According to the Walley Agency website, in 1955 Frank Walley Jr. joined the agency with Frank Walley III coming into the family business in 1983. In 1994, Frank Walley III became president serving in that position until the agency’s acquisition this year

C&S Insurance has completed seven agency acquisitions since 2012

Headquartered in Mansfield, MA, C&S Insurance is a second-generation agency co-owned by Ben Cavallo and Keith Signoriello. Since assuming co-ownership of the agency, the pair have complete seven agency acquisitions, growing the business that their father’s co-founded “tenfold.” The independent agency now boast three locations with a staff of thirty team members serving the approximately 20,000 clients the agency has throughout the Commonwealth. Founded in 1959, this year the agency will celebrate its sixtieth year in business.
