Hi, Marley Stops By The New England 1752 Club

November 19, 2019 by Agency Checklists

Hi Marley’s Bryan Ginsberg speaking to the crowd

The latest installment of the 1752 Club took place this past Friday, November 15th at the Dedham Country & Polo Club. Hi, Marley an online texting platform for insurers was the featured speaker during the luncheon.

The Boston-based start-up was founded By Mike Greene in 2017, as an “intelligent conversation platform” made especially for the insurance industry. Bryan Ginsberg, Sales Lead for Hi Marley, spoke to the crowd about why insurers should consider adding Hi, Marley as its main goal is “simplifying the communication with carriers, customers, agents, brokers, service providers via text message.”

The company which says it is already gaining a bit of traction counts New England-based insurers Norfolk & Dedham, Quincy Mutual, and Plymouth Rock among its clientele.

How you can attend the next New England 1752 Club Meeting

Named after the year commemorating the birth of mutual insurance in this country, the New England 1752 Club is an organization composed of special agents and other field representatives of insurers doing business in the American Agency System throughout New England’s six states. A direct successor to the “Association of Mutual Fieldmen of New England”, the Club reorganized in 1944 adopting the following mission statement:

“The organization of this club is for the purpose of fostering education, public relations, accident and fire safety, understanding and cooperation; and encouraging free discussion; also for the acquisition and exchange of information to the end that each member may be better qualified to convey to the public the high standards and ethics of the profession of mutual insurance and be better able to effectively serve the interests of their company and its agents.”

As the oldest insurance field association in the country, the New England 1752 Club is another institution that the Massachusetts insurance industry should be proud to have based in the Commonwealth. For those interested in learning more about what the NE 1752 Club does or how you can join, contact for more information.

For those individuals interested in attending the next meeting, it will be held at the Dedham Country & Polo Club on Friday December 6th. The featured speaker will be John Bachmann of Social Survey. To reserve your spot, please contact Daniel Findley, CPCU, ARe of the Andover Companies who is coordinating the meetings this year. He can be emailed at DFindley[at]andovercos[dot]com.
