Eastern Insurance Continues Expansion With Auburn Insurance Agency Acquisition

This marks the Eastern’s 31st acquisition since 2002


Eastern Insurance Group, one of Massachusetts largest insurance agency’s has acquired the Auburn Insurance Agency, Inc. The purchase, which was effective as of October 1, 2020, marks the Natick-based Insurance Group’s 31st acquisition since 2002.

Founded in 1982 by President Janice Ryan, Auburn Insurance is a family-owned independent insurance agency based in Sudbury. The agency’s niche focuses on complex commercial insurance coverage program placement and management. It also employs the latest technology, including a client portal and third-party backroom process outsourcing center, to seamlessly administer its P&C insurance programs to both individuals and businesses in a 16 state program. According to the terms of the transaction, Ms. Ryan will join the Eastern Insurance Group upon completion of the transaction.
