In Memoriam: Elaine D. Dean, 1932-2022

Elaine Dean

Attleboro – Elaine D. (Jablonski) Dean, formerly of Seekonk, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022, just shy of her ninetieth birthday.  She was the beloved wife of both, the late Alvin L. Havens and the late Robert E. Dean, Sr. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Casmaro J. and Helen H. (Smigel) Jablonski.

Elaine graduated from Pawtucket East High School in 1950 and then resided in Seekonk, where she lived for nearly sixty years before moving to Attleboro. She enjoyed a long career as an insurance agent, retiring from Ora Andrews Agency in South Attleboro in 2002.

Elaine was a fashionable, sophisticated woman who maintained a high level of attention to detail. She adorned quality with her appearance and was style conscious when it came to her wardrobe and all aspects of her life. She was proud to host and entertain guests in her lovely Seekonk home. Elaine enjoyed traveling on land and sea and was particularly fond of spending time by the mountains at her vacation home in New Hampshire. Her undeniable presence will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched.

Elaine is survived by her twin sister, Eileen J. Mariorenzi, with whom she resided; two loving nieces, Lynda S. Silva and her husband, Carlos, of Lincoln and Brenda L. Burke and her husband, Joseph, of Warwick; three grandnieces, Alyssa M. Bonilla, Stacy L. Silva and Kayla C. Hochman; three great-grandnephews, Jason, Benjamin and Levi, and one great-grandniece, Lydia.
