
DEDHAM, MA and MONTPELIER, VT – March 26, 2025 – Building on the formal announcement of the affiliation between Norfolk & Dedham (N&D®) and Union Mutual, the companies have begun pooling underwriting results effective January 1, 2025. The companies have also introduced a group name (N&D | Union Mutual Insurance Group) and logo (shown above) for use when referring to the combined affiliated companies.

In conjunction with the pooling of financials, the Companies have appointed Alex Butensky as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of the N&D | Union Mutual Insurance Group. Alex, who has been with N&D since 2013, most recently served as N&D CFO and has extensive experience in executive leadership, financial oversight, and actuarial functions. Jennifer Galfetti, former Union Mutual CFO, has been announced as Union Mutual’s Chief Operating Officer. Top leadership at both companies remains unchanged, with Joel Murray continuing as President & CEO of N&D and Board Chair of the affiliated companies, and Lisa Keysar continuing as President & CEO of Union Mutual.
