Arbella Insurance Group (Arbella) has announced that Bob Bizak, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, will retire on July 1, 2026, after over 7 years of dedicated service to the company. Andrew O’Donoghue replaces Bizak as Vice President, Sales & Marketing, and joined Arbella’s executive team effective March 1, 2026.

Bizak is a respected insurance industry leader who advanced Arbella’s mission by strengthening agency partnerships and expanding Arbella’s footprint in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. An advocate for independent agents, Bizak spent 18 years prior to joining Arbella, as a partner at Rogers & Gray Insurance Agency, where he helped grow the commercial division and led agency acquisition and growth initiatives.

“We are grateful for Bob’s leadership, vision, and passion for our agents and team members throughout his time at Arbella,” said Gayle O’Connell, Chief Marketing Officer of the Arbella Insurance Group. “I’ll personally miss his energy, sense of humor, and commitment to the independent agents. On behalf of the entire Arbella organization, I want to thank Bob for his more than seven years of service and the lasting impact he has made on our organization.”

Andrew O’Donoghue appointed to the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing

O’Donoghue brings sales and field leadership experience to his role as Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Following Massachusetts’ 2007 private passenger auto market deregulation, he led in-market training for hundreds of independent agencies, helping teams strengthen their value propositions. Promoted to Assistant Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2019, O’Donoghue has partnered closely with Bizak to drive new business growth, optimize book performance, and mentor and develop team members across Arbella’s territories.

“It’s been deeply rewarding to serve Arbella and collaborate with an outstanding group of colleagues, partners, and agents,” said Bizak. “I’m confident that Andrew and Arbella will continue to build on that momentum, grow successfully, and remain steadfast in their commitment to employees, customers, communities, and independent agents.”
