Hub International Acquires BenefitsMart LLC

Hub International announced this month that is has acquired the assests of Massachusetts-based BenefitsMart, LLC. Begun in Burlington in 1993, BenefitsMart specializes in employee benefits and provides a full range of services to its clients including insurance, compliance, wellness, and benefits administration.

According to the terms of the acquisition BenfitsMart’s Founder and President, Jean Russell, LIA, will join Hub New England upon completion of the transaction. In addition to founding BenefitsMart LLC, Ms. Russell has been an active volunteer and is on the Board of Governors of Tufts Medical Center and the Executive Committee of the University of Massachusetts Commonwealth Compact.

She is also a past Council Member  of the Health Care Quality and Cost Containment Council for State of Massachusetts as well as a Past President Massachusetts Association of Health Underwriters.
