Boston-based Roblin Insurance Acquired By Prime Risk Partners

Roblin Insurance has been as an independent agency for 85 years

Needham-based Roblin Insurance, has been acquired by Prime Risk Partners, Inc. Founded in 1933, Roblin Insurance is one of Massachusetts’ largest independent insurance agencies offering commercial, personal, and employee benefits risk management.

According to the terms of the transaction, Roblin Insurance will continue to operate as is from its existing location in Needham. Both the current leadership team as well as all of the agency’s employees will continue on in their current roles.

Acquisition signals Prime Risk’s entrance into Massachusetts

Insurance News, Roblin Insurance, MA Agency AcquisitionsWith the acquisition of Roblin Insurance, Prime Risk Partners has officially entered the Massachusetts marketplace and will plan to use Roblin insurance as the company’s regional platform. Founded in 2014, Georgia-based Prime Risk Partners is currently ranked as the #44 largest Business Broker in Business Insurance’s ‘Top 100 Business Brokers’ ranking.

For Roblin Insurance, the backing of Prime Risk Partners will provide the  agency a national partner that will allow the agency to continue to grow in both its offerings and resources as well as through additional agency acquisitions.
