Arbella Announces “Here. For Good.® Give Back Program” to Provide Relief to Personal Auto Customers Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

April 13, 2020 by Agency Checklists

Arbella’s Here. For Good.® Give Back Program is offering its auto policy-holders a 20% discount for three months

Today, Arbella Insurance Group (Arbella) announced its “Here. For Good.® Give Back Program,” which will provide a refund to personal auto customers. The company stated that in this unprecedented environment, it is important that all of us stay at home, take care of ourselves and our families, and remain healthy. The coronavirus has impacted everyone and many families are facing unexpected hardships due to work closures and separation from loved ones as they shelter in place. We are certainly facing extraordinarily difficult times.

“Arbella puts people first,” said John Donohue, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Arbella Insurance Group. “We understand how difficult the current environment is for everyone, and we have all been impacted. Helping our customers and providing some financial relief just makes sense. I think the industry as a whole has stepped up to do the right thing for our customers.”

Arbella, a local insurer and neighbor, has always been there to help its customers and community when they need it most. The Arbella Insurance Foundation recently donated more than $125,000 to local food pantries and homeless shelters, which need help now more than ever to assist those impacted by the pandemic.

The “Here. For Good. Give Back Program” will provide Arbella private passenger auto customers with a 20% discount on their auto premiums for three months, April, May, and June 2020. The savings would result in an estimated average of $60 per vehicle, and customers with multiple vehicles on their policy could see significant savings. Arbella customers can expect to see a credit refund applied to their bill within the next 60 days, pending regulatory approval. Additionally, Arbella had previously announced that it will not cancel any auto or other insurance policies for non-payment of premium from April 1 to June 1, 2020 and will not charge fees for late payments or insufficient funds.

The Arbella Here. For Good. Give Back Program also applies to customers new to Arbella who purchased a private passenger auto policy prior to June 30, 2020.
