World Insurance Associates Acquires Plainville’s Pope Insurance Agency

November 29, 2021 by AC Editor

World Insurance Associates has announced another acquisition in Massachusetts. The New Jersey-based national broker announced its acquisition of Pope Insurance Agency Inc. on October 1, 2021. No other terms of the transaction were disclosed.

A multi-line insurance agency offering both personal and commercial insurance, the Pope Insurance Agency has been based in Plainville for over three decades.

“For the past 31 years our goal has been to provide the best insurance solutions, coverages, prices and personal services for our clients,” says Gregory C. Pope, President, Pope Insurance Agency. “As part of World, we can offer our clients access to even more insurance companies for even better options and the best possible value.”

“We are pleased to welcome Pope to the World family,” says Rich Eknoian, CEO and Co-Founder of WIA. “I know that Pope will continue to be successful, providing the level of personal service and friendliness their clients expect.”

This is the second agency acquisition in Massachusetts for World Insurance Associates in 2021. In August of this year, the company announced its acquisition of the Rocco Rose Insurance Agency of Brockton.
