Chicopee's White Birch Insurance Acquires Connecticut Agency

Chicopee-based White Birch Insurance has announced a new agency acquisition. The fast-growing personal and commercial lines insurance agency headed by Greg Varypatakis and Adam Dasso. announced its purchase of Suffield, CT based Delucco Insurance Group, effective May 20, 2022. According to the terms of the transaction, White Birch Insurance will continue to operate out of their Chicopee, MA location, while absorbing Delucco Insurance Group’s book of business effectively immediately.

Founded by Anthony Delucco, Delucco Insurance Group insures Connecticut and Massachusetts policyholders, with a large focus on current or soon-to-be homeowners.

With a similar background and approach to asset protection, Delucco Insurance and its book of business is a perfect fit for White Birch Insurance. With the addition of the new agency, White Birch also will expand its geographic footprint into neighboring Connecticut.

Founded in 2017, White Birch is a scratch agency which has grown to eight employees and counts more than 20 agency appointments with insurance carriers. Going forward after the close of the transaction, White Birch Insurance says it looks to continue its rapid pace as frontrunners in the industry when it comes to quantity and quality of insurance company and coverage options for policyholders in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
