NORTHBRIDGE/GRAFTON: Pauline (Lemoine) Stopyra, 96, passed away peacefully February 18, 2023 at Advinia Care in Northbridge. She leaves her children Stanley Stopyra and his wife Cindy, Sally Webb and her husband Stephen and Susan Beauregard and her husband Kenneth, her grandchildren Tuesday McRae, Richard Stopyra, Eric Valle, Russell Beauregard, Douglas Beauregard, Brooke Webb and Nicole Webb, her great-grandchildren Sebastian Hebert, Reagan Stopyra, Iris Stopyra, Jamie Valle and Aurora Valle, her sister Phyllis Bouthelette and several nieces and nephews. Her sister Dorothy Aspinwall predeceased her.
Pauline was born August 30, 1926, in Whitinsville, MA, daughter of the late Rose Anna (Thompson) and George Lemoine. She lived in Grafton for most of her life and spent the majority of her career at Gaudette Insurance Company where she worked for decades. If you knew Pauline away from work, she’ll be remembered most for her warmth and kindness. If there was music playing you were certain to find Pauline dancing as she loved to polka, waltz, or jitterbug as this always brought joy to her.
Pauline’s family and extended family will be gathering at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 on Friday February 24th from 10-11am followed by the celebration of her Funeral Mass also for her family only at 11:30am at St. James Church 89 Main St. S. Grafton, MA 01560. She will then be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Northbridge.
