Marks the Fifth Agency Acquisition For the Agency Since its Inception

North Shore DiVirgilio Insurance Inc. has announced a new strategic acquisition in the Greater Boston Area. The independent insurance agency has purchased the assets of Yarjan Insurance Agency in Stoneham, MA.

The Yarjan Insurance Agency, led by Rad Yarjan, was founded in 1990.  For over three decades, the Yarjan Agency has served insurance needs for thousands of individuals, families and businesses in the Massachusetts area.

“I have been fortunate to know Rad over the last decade and knew we had the same business philosophy of bringing personal, in-house customer service to our clients,” said Matt DiVirgilio, President of DiVirgilio Insurance Agency. “The timing was right with Rad looking to retire but making sure his staff and clients’ needs were in good hands.  We are excited to welcome Clarissa Pesa to our team from Yarjan Insurance and all of Yarjan Insurance clients to our family.”

DiVirgilio Insurance Agency founded in Lynn, Massachusetts in 1993 by Albert DiVirgilio and led by Albert’s son Matt DiVirgilio is a family insurance agency that services personal, commercial and benefit insurance clients throughout Massachusetts.  Matt strategically led DiVirgilio into the payroll service & timekeeping business in 2019 with the acquisition of On-Time Payroll Services LLC based in Waltham, MA.  This is DiVirgilio’s fifth acquisition since agency inception.

“We have had a strategic targeted growth plan since 2019 with the acquisition of On-Time Payroll and have made sure to standby in-house customer service and are proud to share that the integration between insurance and payroll services has been extremely successful where our clients enjoy deeper personal relationships with our team” said Matt DiVirgilio.

DiVirgilio Insurance will continue to strategically look to acquire agencies within the Great Boston Area.  For more information contact Matt DiVirgilio at matt@divirgilioinsurance.com
