Insurance Services of New England Connects with Eight New Agencies in Connecticut

February 24, 2025 by AC Editor

Insurance Services of New England is based in Wellesley

Insurance Services of New England (ISNE), a network designed by agencies for agencies, has capped off another strong year with a strategic expansion into Connecticut. To start 2025, the group added eight top-tier independent insurance agencies from the state, increasing ISNE’s reach to 68 agencies operating across 114 locations in New England.

The new Connecticut agencies joining ISNE include:

  • Ahrens, Fuller, St. John & Vincent Insurance, Enfield, CT
  • Allied Insurance Center, Bristol, CT
  • Anderson-Meyer Insurance, Inc., Glastonbury, CT
  • Robert J. Evaristo & Associates, Inc., Ellington, CT
  • Lindquist Insurance Associates, Inc., Farmington, CT
  • Rose Insurance, Oxford, CT
  • Sundel & Milford, Inc., Waterbury, CT
  • Thomas Fahy Insurance Agency, Inc., West Hartford, CT

Previously, these agencies were part of the ACORN Insurance Alliance before transitioning to ISNE.

A Strategic Growth Move

ISNE’s executive director, Lee Thompson, highlighted the caliber of the newly added agencies, stating, “Individually and collectively, these agencies have built excellent relationships with many insurance carriers that we also partner with, shown a great commitment to the highest standard of service, and demonstrated consistent growth and profitability. Our network of Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire participants is thrilled to welcome these longstanding and highly respected Connecticut-based agencies.”

ISNE employs a rigorous qualifying process to ensure that prospective member agencies align with the network’s core values and performance expectations. According to Ed Ruhl, ISNE’s membership sales manager, “We take as much time as is needed to get to know an agency and to allow them to ask questions so they can make an informed decision. It’s particularly important that a potential participant understands how our best-in-class performance management approach works and how it can assist them in driving next-level agency growth and profitability.”

Commitment to Excellence

The expansion into Connecticut aligns with ISNE’s mission of maintaining elite standards while fostering sustainable growth. By integrating these agencies into its established network, ISNE aims to strengthen its market position while delivering high-performance results.

As the organization continues to grow, ISNE remains focused on providing its members with competitive advantages, fostering carrier relationships, and upholding a tradition of service excellence in the independent agency sector.
