MONTPELIER, Vermont (March 24, 2025)—Vermont Mutual Insurance Group®, long recognized as a Top 50 Property and Casualty insurer in the U.S., has recently elected Michael Solimano to the Company’s Board of Directors.

Upon welcoming Mr. Solimano to the Board, Vermont Mutual’s Board Chair, Dan Bridge, noted “We are very pleased to welcome Mike Solimano to the Board. Throughout his very accomplished career Mike has exceled as a leader and he is sure to be a valuable member of the Board as he partners with the leadership team to help move Vermont Mutual forward and contribute to the Company’s continued success”

Michael Solimano is the President and CEO of Killington/Pico Ski Resort, where he oversees all operational and strategic aspects of the largest ski resort in the Eastern United States. His career began at Deloitte, where he advanced to Audit Manager before pursuing his passion for the ski industry. When not working at the resort, he enjoys outdoor activities like skiing, biking, hiking, and tennis. He lives in Rutland with his wife, Cara, and their three children, Connor, Hannah, and Lauren.

Upon his election to the Board, Mr. Solimano remarked “Vermont Mutual has not only been a leading P&C carrier throughout the Northeast but also a valued and supportive member of our communities.
