Prometric Will No Longer Offer Licensing Exams For NH
The New Hampshire Insurance Department (NHID) has selected PSI Services LLC (PSI) as the new vendor for administering insurance licensing examinations in the state. PSI will begin offering exams for producers, adjusters, and public adjusters starting July 1, 2025.
Prometric, the Department’s current exam vendor, will cease scheduling licensing exams after June 23, 2025. PSI will begin accepting registrations for New Hampshire licensing exams on June 30, 2025.
“Our goal is simple: to make sure every Granite Stater who wants to build a future in the insurance field has a clear and reliable path to do so,” said Commissioner DJ Bettencourt. “We are proud to launch this new partnership with PSI and keep New Hampshire’s insurance licensing process strong, steady, and working for Granite State insurance professionals and consumers.”
PSI will offer both in-person and remote testing options. In-person exams will be available at multiple locations across New Hampshire, including Concord, Keene, Nashua, Newington, and Portsmouth. Remote testing can be completed from a candidate’s home. Exam fees are set at $59 for single-line exams—including Life, Accident & Health, Property, or Casualty—and $72 for combination exams such as Life, Accident & Health, or Property & Casualty.
Applicants may begin registering for exams beginning June 30, 2025 at https://www.psiexams.com/.
