Deland, Gibson Acquires GV&Y Insurance Agency, Expanding Presence in Westwood, MA

This marks the eighth agency acquisition for the 125-year-old agency

Wellesley ‘Hills’ Deland, Gibson Insurance Associates, Inc. has announced its acquisition of GV&Y Insurance Agency of Westwood. The acquisition, which was completed on April 16th, 2025, marks the second agency Deland Gibson has acquired in 2025 and the eight overall acquisition for the fourth-generation family-owned independent agency.

This alliance will bring increased opportunities and resources to GV&Y’s clients and team, while strengthening Deland, Gibson’s presence in Westwood and surrounding communities.

The GV&Y team will remain at their office at 555 High Street in Westwood and operate under the Deland, Gibson name.
