The virtual series, hosted by Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute and Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers, features thought leaders from the public and private sectors discussing relevant issues at the intersection of insurance, business and public policy.
“We’ve become accustomed to constant change and evolving challenges in the business world, but keeping up with it all can seem overwhelming,” said Woodward. “Through candid conversations, our fall webinar series aims to provide business leaders with practical advice and insights to help them better navigate the issues of today.”

- Sept. 10: “Overload: How Employers Can Help Maxed-Out Caregivers” – Lindsay Jurist-Rosner, Co-Founder and CEO of Wellthy, will share her personal story and the creation of Wellthy, an organization that helps families navigate complex health care and caregiving challenges. She will be joined by Greg Landmark, Senior Vice President, Total Rewards and People Analytics at Travelers, who will discuss how employers can support family caregiving in their workforce.
- Sept. 17: “Mastering M&A: Opportunities and Challenges in Tech and Life Sciences” – Jennifer Ampulski, Assistant Vice President, Life Sciences Segment Lead, and James Standish, Vice President and National Practice Leader, Technology & Life Sciences, both from Travelers, will join Woodward to examine findings from Travelers’ 2025 M&A Study: A Travelers Special Report and how they affect companies at the forefront of technology and health innovation.
- Oct. 8: “Global Cyber Resilience: Lessons from Former White House and CISA Leader Jeff Greene” – Jeff Greene, former Executive Assistant Director for the Cybersecurity at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, will provide an overview of the current threat landscape and offer actionable advice on improving individual and organizational cyber resilience.
- Oct. 15: “Mastering M&A: Risk Management in Manufacturing Transitions” – Tony Giannone, Vice President, Multinational Accounts, and Brian Gerritsen, Assistant Vice President, Middle Market Manufacturing Segment Leader, both from Travelers, will join Jessica Kearney, Vice President of the Travelers Institute, to discuss manufacturing results from the 2025 M&A Study: A Travelers Special Report and best practices for managing manufacturing risk.
- Oct. 29: “Strategic Connections: Short-Term Negotiation Tactics for Long-Term Success” – John Burrows, Ph.D., Senior Lecturer at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy and Associate Fellow at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, will discuss best practices for managing business relationships for the long term. He’ll share tips for business negotiations, knowing when to compete versus collaborate and building effective networks.
