Jim Marcoulier Promoted to Director of Underwriting at A.I.M. Mutual Insurance Companies

A.I.M. Mutual Insurance Companies, a leading workers’ compensation carrier based in Burlington, Mass., has promoted Jim Marcoulier to Director of Underwriting. Previously he was Senior Underwriting Manager.

As Director of Underwriting, Jim is responsible for the companies’ underwriting operations throughout New England. He reports to President & CEO Daniel Landers.

“Jim leads an underwriting group that has achieved important and consistent results for us, building lasting relationships with our broker partners,” said Dan Landers. “We’re happy to have Jim as part of A.I.M. Mutual’s leadership team.”

Jim joined A.I.M. Mutual in 2017, bringing more than 25 years of underwriting experience to the organization. He began his underwriting career with Eastern Casualty Insurance as Underwriting Supervisor and later joined Eastern Insurance Group as an account executive in their Risk Management division.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Salem State University as well as Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS), and Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS) professional designations.
