One80 Intermediaries Announces Senior Leadership Appointments

One80’s organizational structure expands

One80 Intermediaries, a Boston-based specialty insurance broker, today announced its new organizational structure establishing industry practice leaders within the One80 executive team. This extends to strategic areas such as financial lines, workers’ compensation, transportation, property, and personal lines.

The industry practice leaders will be responsible for the development, delivery, and growth of products that span multiple One80 divisions, and complement One80’s well-established distribution and specialty practice structure.

Rick Grimes joins the team with the acquisition of Professional Risk Solutions and has been appointed as Financial Lines Practice Leader. He will be responsible for management liability, professional liability, and cyber products throughout the franchise. Andy Shaw will lead the Workers’ Compensation Practice. Andy most recently served as Executive Vice President at PMC Insurance Group which partnered with One80 in 2021.

Jason Grimm, Transportation Practice Leader, has 15 years of retail management experience in the automotive sector, and has developed and managed operations for some of the nation’s largest automotive retailers. Brad Keller, Property Practice Leader, has over two decades of property insurance experience and maintains long-established relationships with a wide range of carriers in the US and UK. Finally, with over 25 years’ experience Brian Botwinick has been appointed to Personal Lines Practice Leader, in addition to leading One80’s Private Client Services team.

Separately, One80’s Specialty Practices remain a critical part of the business and include Medical Stop Loss, Lender Placed and Tracking Services, Travel/Accident and Health, Canadian Markets, Cannabis and Hemp, Affinity Groups, Captives, Life, Warranty and Product Protection, Self-Funded and Alternative Risks, Marine and Public Entity. Further, One80’s key distribution channels also remain unchanged and include wholesale brokerage, program business and contract binding.
