Feted Past Presidents During Event at The Hampshire House
The beginning months of 2024 have been busy for the Boston CPCU Society according to its Linkedin Page. Last week the Society celebrated its past presidents with a reception at The Hampshire House in Boston. Society Also Recently Announced 2024 Board Members
In addition to honoring its past presidents, and its 2024 Executive Board, the Boston CPCU Society also recently announced the names of its new board members for 2024. According to the announcement, all of the new board members were sworn in for a three-year term starting in 2024 by CPCU New England Governor Paul Tetrault. The following profiles of each of the Board members have been reprinted directly from the CPCU’s Linkedin page.
Brittany Stetson, CPCU, IMP, AINS
Brittany Stetson has been with Arbella Insurance Group for the last 12 years and currently works as a Personal Lines Underwriter for both Connecticut and Massachusetts, focused on newer Independent Agents in the state of Connecticut. Brittany earned her CPCU in 2023 and also holds the AINS designation. Brittany is actively involved in her department’s Diversity and Inclusion education and presentations. She is from and currently lives in southern Massachusetts with her husband and her shih-tzu mixed breed dog. When she is not at work, she likes to read books and play video games with her friends.
Eleanor Boyle, CPCU, CRIS, ARE
Eleanor (Ellie) Boyle is an Underwriting Director at Arch Re, representing their Casualty Facultative team out of Boston. She has over seven years of professional commercial insurance experience working out of the Bermuda, London, New York, and Boston marketplaces. Eleanor started her professional career after graduating from Rollins College in Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Eleanor holds the Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS), Chartered Professional Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Associate in Reinsurance (ARE) designations.
John Randolph, CPCU
John Randolph is the Assistant Program Manager for First Indemnity Insurance Agency, Inc, a managing general agency specializing in risk management solutions for small to midsize professional service businesses. John serves as the underwriting manager for First Indemnity’s longstanding Lawyers Professional Liability Program. In addition, John has helped oversee the successful launch of new countrywide insurance programs for accountants and miscellaneous professionals. John earned his CPCU in 2022 and enjoys skiing and boating in his free time.
Kelly Ouellette, CPCU, AICM
Kelly Ouellette works at Quincy Mutual Group Fire Insurance Company as a Claims Operations Manager. She received her CPCU designation in 2020. She was previously a member of the NEAIFI board and currently volunteers in the local community fundraising through Quincy Mutual. She has been in the industry since 1987.
Peter Phillips, CPCU, ARM
Peter has over 12 years’ experience in the insurance industry and has been with Lexington Insurance Company for over six years. He currently manages a team of Assistant Underwriters to support the E&S Casualty and A&E Underwriting groups. Peter earned his CPCU designation in 2021. In addition to holding CPCU and ARM designations, he earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of New Hampshire as well as his MBA from Boston University. In his free time he enjoys reading, skiing, and recently started playing tennis.
