Massachusetts’ NEIGN Welcomes A New Member To Its Agency Network

June 23, 2015 by AC Editor

NEIGN is a Massachusetts-based agency network formed at the beginning of 2015

A new member has joined the ranks of The New England Insurance Group Network (“NEIGN”).  The insurance “partnership” welcomed The RJ Smith Insurance Agency as its newest partner. With the addition of the Smith Agency, the network which is open exclusively to Massachusetts agencies now boasts 11 agency members. The RJ Smith is based in Norwood and is owned and operated by Danny Digiacomo.

Steven Salhaney and Edward Lukatsky of NEIGN

Created in January of 2015 by Edward Lukatsky and Steven Salhaney CEO and Presidents of the New England Insurance Group (Agency) and also the New England Insurance Group Network (Network), NEIGN was created to be more of a partnership than agency network for members. In explaining why a Massachusetts independent agency might want to join NEIGN, Lukatsky and Salhaney said,

There are multiple reasons that agents decide to join a network. Several of the main reasons are better market representation, higher profit sharing payouts as well as incentive programs with commission overrides, but also resources and networking opportunities with one another. We do a lot of best practices networking with one another as well.

The result is that all of sudden, members do not feel like they are alone in this business and there is a team that is working together to achieve a common goal. The core of this group has worked together for 14 years and everyone has each other’s back.
