Duffy Insurance Acquires Jay Colangelo Insurance of Chelmsford

June 13, 2016 – The Duffy Insurance Agency of Lynn announced today that it has acquired the Jay Colangelo Insurance Agency of Chelmsford. The Jay Colangelo Insurance Agency acquistion marks the 3rd acquisition that Duffy Insurance has successfully completed since 2013. The Colangelo owner and staff to remain with Duffy Insurance

The Jay Colangelo Insurance Agency was established in 1994. James, “Jay,” Colangelo and his staff of four will remain working out of their current Chelmsford, MA location.

“We are excited to welcome the Jay Colangelo Insurance Agency to the Duffy team.  Jay and his staff have built and maintained a strong reputation and insurance agency in Chelmsford.  We look forward to working closely together with Jay and his team moving forward,” said Marc Duffy.

Duffy Insurance seeking additional partnerships

Duffy Insurance also announced that it continues to look to partner with independent agency owners in Massachusetts who are looking to perpetuate their agency.
