Liberty Mutual Insurance Signs as Title Sponsor of Music City Bowl

October 24, 2025 by AC Editor

NCAA-certified Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl to debut in December 2025 in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 21, 2025) – Music City Bowl, Inc. today announced Liberty Mutual Insurance as the new title sponsor of its annual college football bowl game played in Nashville. The newly named Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl will feature a Southeastern Conference versus Big Ten Conference matchup on December 30, 2025, at 4:30 pm CT in Nissan Stadium.

The agreement was announced this morning at Nissan Stadium alongside the bowl’s new logo, which will be implemented immediately.

“With this investment in the Music City Bowl, Liberty Mutual Insurance is demonstrating confidence in Nashville’s growing sports and tourism sector, highlighting the benefit of corporate and community partnership,” said Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell. “I’m happy to welcome Liberty Mutual Insurance to Music City and to celebrate a great game in December.”

Established in 1998, the Music City Bowl has transformed the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day into one of the city’s busiest times of the year for tourism and has become Nashville’s holiday tradition. Since its inception, the Bowl has produced nearly $450 million in direct economic impact to Nashville and has been viewed by over 109.5 million people.

“Liberty Mutual is proud to be the title sponsor of the 2025 Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl. The game of football embodies grit, teamwork and community spirit — values that guide how we protect and support our customers every day,” said Jenna Lebel, Liberty Mutual chief marketing officer, US Retail Markets. “Partnering with the city of Nashville, the SEC, the Big Ten and ESPN allows Liberty Mutual to connect with fans and families in meaningful ways, and we look forward to being part of this memorable December tradition.”

The Bowl game and the events that surround it have provided a direct impact on the Nashville economy, national image and community pride, while showcasing the city as a premier sports destination for audiences throughout the country.

“We are excited to welcome Liberty Mutual Insurance as our new partner beginning this season,” said Scott Ramsey, president and CEO of the newly named Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl. “This marks the start of an exciting new chapter for our bowl game, as we join forces with Liberty Mutual to further strengthen our presence on the college football postseason stage, while continuing to deliver an unforgettable experience for players and fans alike. We look forward to seeing this partnership elevate both the Liberty Mutual Insurance and Music City Bowl brands to new heights.”
