C&S Insurance Builds Out Private Client Groups and Commercial Insurance Division With Two New Hires

July 10, 2020 by Agency Checklists

West and Post Bring Expertise in Breweries, Manufacturing & High Net Worth Household

C&S Insurance, based in Mansfield, Massachusetts, is proud to welcome two experienced risk professionals—Matt Post and Paul West—to its rapidly growing team. In fact, over the past several months, the agency has added a fourth office location and expanded its staff by 30 percent.

Matt Post

SVP of Commercial Insurance and Risk Management, Matt Post joins the agency to bolster its business insurance division, particularly in the areas of commercial real estate, craft brewing, and manufacturing. Throughout his career, Post has represented leading firms across the Northeast, claiming titles such as Top Cross Sell Producer, Top Lead Generating Producer, and Top Quarterly Closer, multiple times within each firm. At his current role, Post will focus on the development of specialty manufacturing insurance programs for breweries, distilleries, and plastics manufacturers.

As a personal risk advisor, Paul West brings considerable experience to the Private Client Group at C&S Insurance, specializing in risk management for Greater Boston’s successful families and individuals. Paul works closely with his clients, as well as their financial advisors, to identify optimal carrier programs, enhanced coverage opportunities, and unaddressed exposures. He acts as a dedicated advisor and advocate, ensuring a stress-free experience for the busy households he supports.

“We’re excited to welcome Matt and Paul aboard,” said Keith Signoriello, principal and co-owner of C&S Insurance, one of Massachusetts’ largest independent brokers, according to Boston Business Journal. “Matt has more than 24 years of experience in the insurance brokerage and claims industries. His deep knowledge of breweries and manufacturing firms, and his talents as an overall risk strategist, are effective complements to our commercial growth plan.”

“We gained two strong assets in Matt and Paul,” echoed Ben Cavallo, C&S co-owner and principal. “Like Matt, Paul is someone who can deliver immediate value to our organization. As we’ve expanded our presence throughout the state and our book of business grows, we’re recognizing more clients—young families, entrepreneurs and business owners—in this higher income bracket. Addressing their needs with a dedicated risk advisor was definitely a priority addition.”

Paul West

Paul West is a member of the Private Risk Management Association (PRMA), representing his commitment to best practices and continuing education in his field. He is a graduate of UMASS, Amherst. Matt Post is an active participant in several trade organizations and industry events including Plastec East, Design & Manufacturing, the Massachusetts Brewers Guild, and the Brewers Association. Matt also served as insurance advisor for the Northern Worcester County Real Estate Association. Matt graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
