Hub Acquires Massachusetts-based IBG Financial Partners, LLC

In a further expansion into retirement and wealth management services, Hub New England has announced the acquisition of the retirement planning firm IBG Financial Partners, LLC (“IBG”).

Founded in Foxborough in 1996 by Peter D. Vacheron, ChFC, CPFA, IBG Financial Partners, LLC has grown over the past 30 years and has been ranked a Top Financial Advisor by the Financial TImes in 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Focusing on providing advisory support in the areas of investment, plan design, and administration, as well as retirement, the firm managed approximately $1.6 billion in assets as of Dec 31, 2020.

According to the terms of the transaction, Mr. Vacheron, Principal of IBG, as well as the rest of the IBG team will join Hub Retirement and Private Wealth in New England upon completion of the acquisition. No further terms of the transaction were disclosed.

Providing both talent and resources, the addition of IBG Financial Partners, LLC will accelerate and expand the capabilities of the brokerage’s growing Retirement and Wealth Management Services. Hub’s RPW currently includes several registered investment advisory affiliates that provide investment advisory services to clients with assets totaling approximately $93 billion.
