In a strategic expansion into Southern Vermont, Hub New England has announced its acquisitions of one of the areas oldest independent insurance agencies in acquiring the assets of Finn & Stone, Inc. No further terms of the transaction were disclosed.

Southern Vermont’s largest independent agency
With two locations in Manchester and Springfield, Vermont, Finn & Stone has serviced its customers in and around Southern Vermont for over 60 years. Howard Finn and Paul Stone created Finn & Stone in 1961, after deciding to combined their respective agencies, Finn & Corliss and The Chester Insurance Agency.
In 1984, Charles “Chip” M. Ams, III joined the agency after relocating from Fairfield County, CT. to Vermont. In 1986, Mr. Ams became a Managing Partner. Today, he and Jonathan Ams are the principals of Finn & Stone. Upon completion of the sale of their agency both Chip and Jonathan Ams, along with the rest of their team, will join Hub New England.
