Eastern Insurance has announced another agency acquisition. The Natick-based insurance agency has purchased the operating assets of the Michals Insurance Agency, Inc. effective March 1st.

Eastern Insurance’s 35th acquisition since 2002
With the addition of the Watertown-based Michals Insurance Agency, Eastern Insurance has now acquired 35 agencies in Massachusetts since 2002. While Michals marks the first agency acquisition for the agency in 2022, in 2021, it purchased two agencies, the Concord-based Northbridge Insurance Agency and the Watertown-based Barr Insurance Agency. Prior to that, in 2020 it acquired both the Campbell, Flaherty & Ring Insurance Agency and the Auburn Insurance Agency.
