World Insurance Associates Adds Another Mass. Agency to Its Ranks

World Acquires Circle Insurance Agency of Danvers

World Insurance has grown again in Massachusetts. The Top 50 brokerage firm announced its acquisition of the Circle Insurance Agency Inc. of Danvers. The transaction was effective as of October 1, 2022. No further terms were disclosed.

“On behalf of everyone at WIA, I’d like to welcome Circle Insurance to the World family,” says Rich Eknoian, CEO and Co-Founder of WIA. “As a result of this acquisition, World increases its presence in eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and Maine.”

Founded in 1989 by James M. Holbrook, Circle Insurance has grown to a full-service insurance agency providing coverage in Personal and Commercial Lines as well as Financial Services.

“As a result of joining World, we can offer our clients even more products and services, while maintaining the high level of service they have come to expect from Circle Insurance,” says Mike Holbrook, President, Circle Business Insurance Inc.

With the addition of Circle Insurance Agency, World Insurance Associates has made five agency acquisitions in Massachusetts so far this year.

Headquartered in Tinton Falls, N.J., World Insurance Associates has grown into a national agency focused on providing individuals and businesses with top products and services across personal and commercial insurance lines, employee benefits, retirement and financial services and human capital management solutions.

Since its founding in 2012, it has completed 112 acquisitions and now serves customers from more than 131 offices in the U.S. As a result of its aggressive growth strategy, the brokerage now appears at the top of many ranking lists, ranking #2 on Business Insurance’s Fastest Growing Brokers list, #62 on Business Insurance’s 100 Largest Brokers of U.S. Business list, #31 on Insurance Journal’s Top 100 Independent P&C Agencies list, and #38 on Insurance Journal’s Top 50 Personal Lines Agencies list.
