Springfield, MA – MassMutual today announced the appointment of Meghan Doscher to head of brand and marketing. Doscher will report to Paul LaPiana, MassMutual’s head of brand, product and affiliated distribution.
Doscher brings a diverse and deep understanding of financial services to this role, having held strategic leadership roles within marketing, sales and distribution, finance, operations, and strategy within the industry.
Most recently, she served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Brighthouse Financial, where she led marketing strategy, brand development, and sales enablement—all contributing to industry-leading revenue growth. She also played a key advisory role in governance and strategy following the company’s separation from MetLife. Prior to that, Doscher spent nearly 15 years with MetLife in progressive leadership roles supporting its U.S. businesses, including leading the successful integration of three U.S. retail career agency channels into one cohesive channel, the MetLife Premier Client Group.
“Meghan has deep and broad business experience in our industry as well as a strong understanding of our products, distribution channels, and our current and future customers,” said LaPiana. “Meghan is a dynamic leader and will head MassMutual’s brand and marketing strategy, helping to tell MassMutual’s story authentically and bring the company’s purpose – to help people secure their future and protect the ones they love – to life.”
Doscher holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Villanova University, is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds Series 6 and 26 licenses.
