Davis & Towle Welcomes Turner Liberty Insurance to the Fold

May 18, 2026 by AC Editor

Davis & Towle Insurance Group acquisition of Turner Liberty Insurance highlighting independent agency partnership and growth

New Hampshire’s largest family-owned independent insurance agency, Davis & Towle Insurance Group, is growing again. The agency announced its acquisition of Turner Liberty Insurance in Farmington, NH, a longstanding independent agency known for its personal service and deep community relationships.

“As I thought about retirement and the future of the agency, it was important to find an organization that truly understands the value of independent agencies,” said Paul M. Turner, Owner of Turner Liberty Insurance. “Like us, Davis & Towle believes in local service, long‑term relationships, and doing what’s right for clients. This transition provides long‑term stability and additional resources behind the scenes and I’m confident Davis & Towle will be a great fit for our agency and our clients.”

Founded on the values of local decision-making and client-first service, Turner Liberty Insurance will continue operating under its existing name, from its current office, with the same team and same commitment to clients that have defined the agency for decades.

Mr. Turner plans to retire in February 2027 and will remain actively involved in the agency until that time, working alongside the existing Turner Liberty team to ensure a smooth transition.

Davis & Towle Insurance Group has a long history of partnering with independent agencies across New Hampshire, providing operational support and additional resources while preserving each agency’s identity, culture, and local presence.

“We have great respect for what Paul has built at Turner Liberty,” said Ryan Towle, President of Davis & Towle Insurance Group. “Their values align closely with ours, and we’re honored to support the agency’s next chapter while maintaining everything clients value about working with them.”
