F. Timothy Hegarty has been selected as the 2017 Insurance Professional of the Year
The Insurance Library Association of Boston announced this week that F. Timothy Hegarty has been selected as the 2017 Insurance Professional of the Year. Mr. Hegarty is the Chairman of the Board, Norfolk & Dedham Group.
While Agency Checklists was unable to obtain an official biography of Mr. Hegarty in time for publication, we knew our readers would nevertheless like to know about his selection as he is both a well-known and well-regarded member of our community.
More about the Insurance Professional of the Year Award
Established in 2002 by the Richard Simches Fund, the Insurance Professional of the Year Award is presented each year to “…a person who demonstrates leadership and exemplifies those qualities that engender understanding of and respect for the insurance industry.” The selection process is conducted by a cross-section of the insurance industry and as such carries with it that added significance. The 16th annual award ceremony will take place on Friday, October 6, 2016, from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel during the Association’s Annual Insurance Professional of the Year Award Luncheon.
