Renaissance Alliance Welcomes Agencies in Vermont, New York, and Florida

December 9, 2022 by AC Editor

Renaissance Alliance continues to expand its presence both in the Northeast and Florida with the addition of three more independent agencies to its network over the past month.

Barrett Insurance Agency

On November 23rd, the company announced that Barrett Insurance Agency had joined the agency alliance. Based in St. Johnsbury Vermont, the agency offers Home, Personal and Commercial Auto, Motorcycle/ATV, Snowmobile, RV, Farm, Business, Workers’ Compensation, Flood, and Disability insurance products, as well as Life insurance.

Dave Dawson, Regional Executive Vice President for the Northeast, said the agency was attracted to Renaissance’s technology resources as well as expanded access to commercial lines carriers.

Rushing Insurance Agency

Shortly after welcoming Barrett Insurance, Renaissance Alliance Rushing Insurance Agency has served clients for more than 30 years. It maintains three locations in Florida (Daphne, Pensacola, and Jacksonville), and is especially strong in commercial lines.

Oscar Miniet, Regional Executive Vice President for the Southeast, said the agency was attracted to Renaissance’s wide array of member benefits, particularly its technology and commercial lines placement services.

Marenco Insurance Agency

Rounding up the third announcement since the end of November, Renaissance Alliance welcomed Marenco Insurance Agency from the Empire State.

A longtime agency located in New Rochelle, N.Y., Marenco Insurance is a family-owned business that has served its community since 1961 and has seen three generations pass through its ranks. Today, it also serves clients throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, and Florida.

Mike Casella, Renaissance’s Director of Agency Recruitment, said Marenco was attracted to Renaissance’s placement services, market access, and technology resources that will fuel the agency’s future growth.
