This month the company has announced two new appointments to its executive team, both of whom will be based in its Norwell headquarters.
Michael Wilberton joins radius as its new CFO
Michael Wilberton has joined Radius Financial as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective August 1, 2020. Mr. Wilberton brings with him an extensive background in corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, tax, investor relations, strategic planning, and risk management along with a deep appreciation for radius and its unique position driving their explosive growth and transformation of the residential lending market.

Mr. Wilberton has more than 20 years of financial management experience. In his previous role Michael was responsible for many of the company’s financial strategy including cost management, capital allocation, and balance sheet optimization.
Mr. Wilberton held various positions of increasing responsibility in finance at Harbor One Bank, Santander Holdings, WG Financial LP, Credit Renaissance Partners, Descap/First Albany Securities and Citizens Financial Group.
He received both his Bachelor of Arts, in Mathematics from Marist College and his Master’s Degree in Finance from Brandeis University. He also is a frequent guest lecturer at many universities and has numerous published articles in The Journal of Structured Finance.
Michelle Gillan joins radius as its Chief Experience Officer
Ms. Gillan brings more than twenty years of experience leading and developing cross-functional partnerships in addition to driving investment prioritization and resource allocation. She is particularly adept at building teams to streamline, re-organize and improve the customer experience while reducing costs of delivery.
As CXO, Ms. Gillan will develop processes and programs that drive employee and customer attraction, engagement, and development, enabling radius to grow while promoting its culture. She will also provide strategic direction for diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Ms. Gillan was most recently Chief of Staff at Fidelity Investments. Prior to that, she served as Head of Analytics for MassMutual, Head of Vendor Management at State Street Bank & Trust and Director of Finance Strategy at Fidelity Investments.
She received both her MBA and MSF in Business and Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Business.
